THE GAMBIT COACH
Another year has begun here on the illustrious campus of Westyn University—our very own Ivy League of the South. I’d like to begin by welcoming all our new students into the distinguished Gambit Family, as well as extending a gracious welcome back to our renowned returning students and faculty.
With all the work we have put in over the last few semesters, coupled with the summer coming to a close, this is shaping up to be our most promising year yet. Thanks in part to our powerhouse of a football team, carrying us undefeated into our first year as a Division I ACC League school. I don’t know about the rest of you, but I am looking forward to an exciting year of crushing our new opponents and claiming that national championship come January.
Everyone, make sure to show your face during this year’s Westyn Welcome Week—our semester kickoff event-filled week, where there will be unlimited information, food, and fun for everyone. Use this opportunity as a way to become acclimated with some of the organizations and resources on campus. Make sure you start early, making your presence known. Remember, it’s the early bird who gets the worm and the late bird who goes unnoticed.
Westyn University and our Graduate school—DuBois College, have been consistently producing the crème de la crème of academic society in most areas for years.
Let us all keep that tradition going strong by keeping our heads in those books and supporting anything and everything Westyn; we can truly make this the best year thus far. The staff and I, here at The Gambit Coach, are looking forward to seeing everyone this semester.
